Do you have the same favourite food as one of the Royal Family members? You’d be surprised

Sounds like my family!

It seems that those inhabiting the poshest parts of society fancy the same food as everyone else.

Shared by the Daily Mail, sources close to the Royal Family revealed the members' favourite foods and they’re all surprisingly similar to what every man, woman, and child enjoys - from pizza to scrambled eggs and even curry.

Chocolate Biscuit Cake
The star of Queen Elizabeth II’s afternoon teas was the chocolate biscuit cake, according to former royal chef Darren McGrady. She loved it so much that it would never go uneaten. Instead, she had someone carry the cake and follow her wherever she went, so she could have a slice whenever she pleased.

Pizza
McGrady also said that Princes William and Harry were massive fans of pizza when they were little ones and “would have it every night if Nanny let them”. Nanny, AKA Queen Elizabeth, was not as big a pizza fan so those nights didn't happen too often.

Fish and Chips
Queen Consort Camilla
, as well as Prince William and Princess Kate, are massive fish and chip fans. Camilla once told food writer Tom Parker Bowles that “you cannot beat proper fish and chips” adding that she also loves the smell.

During their college days, when they were still young lovebirds, William and Kate would frequent Anstruther Fish Bar in Scotland.

Even the Queen herself enjoyed the meal, with a source telling Fabulous Digital: “She very occasionally treats herself to dish and chips when at Balmoral. A footman is dispatched to get it from the local town of Ballater.”

Pasta
Spaghetti bolognese was William’s go-to meal when he would hop in the kitchen to try and win Kate over during their early relationship.

“In university days he used to cook all sorts of meals,” Kate told Mary Berry during a Christmas TV special. “I think that's when he was trying to impress me! Things like bolognese sauce."

William ended up putting his swoon-worthy bolognese in a charity cookbook called ‘A Taste of Home’.

Pasta-loving runs in the family as, according to celebrity chef Aldo Zilli, William and Kate’s eldest son George loves spaghetti carbonara.

Eggs
King Charles III and his wife Camilla are known to have only the highest quality eggs almost every morning. Made by Burgord Brown and Maran Chickens at Highgrove House and Gardens, the eggs they have for brekkie are highly sought after around the world.

This list wouldn’t be out of place in the majority of households around the world - they do say food is the great equalizer!
