The State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19th September at 10pm NZT. It's the same place where Her Majesty was crowned back in 1953 and also where she got married with late Prince Philip in 1947.
"The Funeral Service and the associated ceremonial arrangements will pay tribute to The Queen’s extraordinary reign, and Her Majesty’s remarkable life of service as Head of State, Nation and Commonwealth" the Royal family's website wrote.
The Queen's funeral will be broadcasted live to be watched by the rest of the world and allow people to take part in mourning The Queen.
Kiwis will be able to watch the late Queen's funeral on TVNZ1 and Three.
TVNZ1 will broadcast 'The State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II' live from the UK from 10pm - 6am.
Three will play an hour special of The Queen's Funeral at 7.30pm - 8.30pm. Then will commence the broadcasting of 'The State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II' from 8.30pm - 4am.
The funeral can also be watched on YouTube as it will be broadcasted via The Royal Family's Channel.
