Kiwis, brace yourselves because The Chase is on in NZ!

Shaun Wallace, dubbed The Dark Destroyer on British TV quiz show 'The Chase', is returning to NZ with plans to tour five cities across the country in May and June.

This time, Shaun will be visiting Hawke's Bay and Invercargill for the very first time, alongside Auckland, Wellington, and Kaiapoi, and hosting special ticketed quiz nights in each town that fundraise for local charities.

At each event, attendees will have the opportunity to chat with Shaun about his life, The Chase, and his love for New Zealand. The event will feature a six-round general knowledge quiz, with each table forming a team to participate. The evening will culminate in the Final Chase, where four people from the winning team will be drawn to go live against Shaun on stage!

In Auckland, the John Walker Find Your Field of Dreams Foundation will benefit from the event, which aims to provide young people in Auckland's areas of greatest need with opportunities to live healthy, active lifestyles and pursue a positive pathway through sport and physical recreation.

The event in Hawke's Bay will support the Hawke's Bay Foundation - Cyclone Relief Fund, which is dedicated to helping the region recover after the devastating Cyclone Gabrielle.

In Wellington, the proceeds from the event will go to Lifeflight, an organisation that provides critically ill patients with the specialist care they urgently need.

In Invercargill, the event will support Youthline Southland, an organisation that provides 24/7 support, information, crisis intervention, and referrals for young people.

Finally, in Kaiapoi, the proceeds will go to the Kaiapoi Promotion Association, which is a non-profit organisation that hosts free family events, notably the annual Kaiapoi Christmas Carnival and Santa Parade.

Fans will also have the opportunity to meet Shaun and purchase a signed copy of his book 'Chasing The Dream'.

Tickets for each event can be purchased online, and for those who miss out on the sold-out Invercargill event, there is a waitlist.

So don't miss your chance to meet Shaun the Dark Destroyer himself and support a good cause in your community!
