Anyone who's been planning to go to Willowbank in Christchurch this weekend or later will get a nice, cute wee surprise.
A capybara gave birth to two baby capybaras and they are the cutest thing we've seen today!
Sharing a video on Facebook, Willowbank shared a clip of the babies basking under the sun with their parents.
They wrote:
"Tada we have two new arrivals in the capybara family - two adorable baby capybaras!
Born earlier this week, these little ones are already out and about with their parents, basking in the sunshine and exploring their surroundings
If you have never seen a baby capybara before, get ready for some serious cuteness overload"
Aren't these baby capybaras just too adorable? It really makes you want to take the kids to Willowbank for a quick trip!
Capybara Encounters are daily at 2 pm and bookings are essential. The duration is about 20 minutes and the cost is $40 for adults and $17.50 for children (Children's tickets to increase to $20 from 1st April 2023).
