Top 40 ways to create the "perfect" day

A survey has found that the average person only has 15 "truly perfect" days each year, and what's surprising is that the most trivial-sounding activities can make you feel amazing.

The survey, which looked at 2000 American adults, found the average person is happiest waking up at 8.15am. They would be able to spend three hours outside enjoying sunny "spring-like" weather, spend 4 hours with their family and 3 hours with their friends, then after 3 hours of relaxing and watching TV, jump back into bed at 10.50pm.

The top three sure-fire ways to improve your day include finding money in their pocket, sleeping in without waking up to an alarm, and lying in bed listening to the rain.
