- White Vinegar
- Cloth
- Warm soapy water
- Warm Water
- Baking soda
- Essential Oil
Remove all sheets and bedding from your mattress
Mix some baking soda and a few drops of essential oil together and sieve over you mattress and leave for 30 mins
Vacuum your mattress
If you can, get you mattress out on the deck in the sun
Lightly spray with withe vinegar to remove odors
Use a clean cloth to dab any mold spots with white vinegar
work the vinegar into the mattress cover on the mold affected areas
The mold should change to a lighter colour as the spores are killed off. The vinegar will not completely remove the mold stains
If you are desperate to remove mold stains try dabbing with warm soapy water. Sponge off with a damp cloth
Leave the mattress in the sun to dry completely before remaking the bed
