The flavour of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding cake has been announced - a delicious Lemon and Elderflower cake.
Ali gave it a go and it turned out pretty amazing!
Here's the recipe so you can give it a go yourself ahead of the big day:
LEMON AND ELDERFLOWER CAKE
250 gms of Butter with 350gms of castor sugar
- Add 4 beaten eggs,zest of 2 lemons and 350gms of self raising flour,2 Tbsp of milk and 2 Tbsp of Elderflower cordial
- Grease and line 2 cake tins and bake cakes at 180 degrees for 30 mins
- Mix 200gms of icing sugar and juice of 2 lemons and 2TBSP of Elderflower Cordial over a medium heat till you have a syrup.
Once cakes are cooked stab them with a knife and pour the syrup over.
200grams of butter and 400grams of icing sugar beaten together
- Sandwhich the cakes with some of the buttercream and then coat the cake and decorate as you please
