Perfect for these cold winter days, Ali makes Beetroot and Nigella soup...
- 300gms cooked Beetroot, peeled and chopped
- 1 tin of cooked Lentils
- 1 Apple, cored and chopped
- 2 cloves of Garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp of Nigella Seeds (Onion Seeds)
- 400mls of Vegetable Stock,or Chicken (if you prefer)
How to make:
Put the ingredients in the blender with some salt and pepper and blitz till smooth
Heat and sprinkle with some of the Nigella Seeds if you fancy.
Pretty and pink!
