Ali's Caramilk Blondies

In the Kitchen

Ali created these yum treats yesterday and you have to try it for yourself.

"Caramilk was on special in the supermarket, so I couldn't help myself. I think what makes this so delish is the condensed milk and the chocolate together"

- Ali Leonard

  • 180g Caramilk chocolate - chopped (or any white chocolate)
  • 395g condensed milk tin
  • 125g butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1¼ cups plain four
  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • Preheat oven to 160C.
  • Grease and line a 27x17cm slice tin.
  • In a large saucepan, put the condensed milk, butter, sugar, and half of the Caramilk. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool.
  • Whisk the eggs into the cooled mixture, then fold through the flour and baking powder. Fold through the rest of the chocolate. Then pour it all into the prepared tin,
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes until just set - it should still be a little gooey in the center. Allow it to cool (slightly).
  • Optional - Melt some caramilk chocolate and drizzle over the brownies!
