An ex McDonald's worker has gone viral on Twitter after claiming to know the 'real reason' why their ice-cream machines break so often.
We've all been in that situation before - you rock up to McDonald's, eagerly wanting a soft serve - only to be told the machine is currently broken. Writing on Twitter the man said "By the way, I used to work in McDonalds."
"The ice cream machine was never broke, it just takes 3 hours to clean so we used to say it was broke so we didn’t have to serve you lot."
As you can imagine, there has been a huge reaction online...
"I’m copying this information so the next time McDonalds does that I will show them this tweet." one wrote.
"Question is, why are they making machines for fast food chains that take 3 hours to clean?" asked another.
McDonald's have not yet replied to the man's Tweets.
