Those who grew up in the 80's and 90's will be pleased to hear the one of the yummiest iceblocks are heading back to supermarket freezers!
The Paddle Pop, which is an iconic childhood staple in many Australian and NZ childhood's, has been confirmed by Streets as to making a comeback.
“We’re so pleased to announce the return of the caramel choc, fondly remembered by those growing up in the ’80s and ’90s,” Streets brand manager, Samantha Jarmul said.
“Now they have the chance to enjoy their childhood memory of caramel goodness with their own children, and it tastes just as great.”
Streets have also announced that they will also be keeping the wrapping of the original 1989 Paddle Pop lion the same to add to the nostalgia of the ice block.
There's no official word that the popular cold treats will be arriving in dairy's and supermarkets here in New Zealand, but they have been 100% confirmed over the ditch in Australia.
