There's not too many things that are better than getting a good night's sleep but sometimes many of us can have trouble sleeping and our busy lifestyles can often have an impact on how much sleep we get.
Our friends at The Urban List have come up with some handy tips to help you get a better sleep and hopefully wake up feeling refreshed.
Limit Caffeine
Most people will already know that drinking coffee before bed isn't the best way to ensure a good sleep but research also shows that you're better off avoiding all forms of caffeine four - six hours before bed.
Drink tea
Try having a nice herbal tea before heading to bed.
Limit Exposure To Light
The best idea would be to put your phone away or even in a different room.
Use A Sleeping Mask
These help block out light making for a even better sleep.
Journal
If you're brain seems to be extra busy right before bed try jotting down some of the ideas and things you're thinking about.
Avoid Naps
If you want a good night's sleep try not to nap throughout the day.
Take Supplements
Magnesium has been known to help with sleep.
Sleep With Your Pet In Your Room
This might not always be the best advice if you have a noisy pet but it might help to comfort you at night making it easier to drift off.
