Everyone knows that having children can be stressful at times.
Often the amount of stress can also depend on how many kids you have.
Science has revealed that the least stressful number of children to have is four, while the most stressful number to have is three children.
Seven thousand mothers were surveyed by TODAYMoms.com to find out how many kids is the most stressful.
Blogger Jill Smokler told the Today that she agrees: “Going from one to two was an easy, breezy transition... Two to three, everything was turned upside down. I do not feel like I have it together. You only have two hands! Just crossing the street and not being able to physically hold all their hands I find tremendously stressful.”
There is speculation around four kids being the least stressful that it is because you've actually given up the idea of everything being perfect and it's a huge weight off your shoulders.
“The more children you have, the more confident you become in your parenting abilities... You have to let go… and then you’re just thankful when they all get to school on time,” said psychiatrist and mum-of-four, Dr Janet Taylor.
