One of our favourite kiwi Olympians Valerie Adams is expecting her first child.
She shared an adorable photo with a tiny shot put to announce the exciting news.
She also tweeted out a picture of an adorable onesie - with the words "Baby Adams-Price October 2017" emblazoned on the front in a Disney-style typeface.
Adams, 32, plans to compete on the world stage just six months after the expected birth date.
"If there was more time to the Commonwealth Games that would be awesome, but, I've got six months [from the birth]. I don't know what I'll be like afterwards, time will tell, but I'm going to give it my best shot."
Athletics New Zealand says it will "do everything" it can to support her in that goal.
Adams was not planning to compete in the World Championships in August.
