Tell-all royal book reveals which royal commented on Archie's skin before he was born

The book reveals Prince Charles made the comments.

The 2020 tell-all Oprah interview with Prince Harry & Meghan Markle sent the world into a divided frenzy when Meghan revealed that one of the senior royals made a comment on what Archie's skin colour might be when he's born.

Now, a book by journalist Christopher Andersen that details the royal rift between Prince William, Prince Harry and their wives, spills on who the royal was that made the comments.

In the book, a “well-placed source” recounts Prince Charles as allegedly making the comment to Meghan in November 2017, on the same morning that she and Harry announced their engagement.

According to the source, Charles said to his wife, Camilla, “I wonder what the children will look like?”

The insider claimed that Camilla was “somewhat taken aback” by the question and responded, “Well, absolutely gorgeous, I’m certain.”

Charles reportedly then lowered his voice and asked: “I mean, what do you think their children’s complexion might be?”

When Harry allegedly confronted his father over the incident, Charles told him that he was being “overly sensitive about the matter”.

Apparently William shared Charles’ view, allegedly opining that the skin tone comment was “tactless” but “not a sign of racism within the family”.

In a statement to The Post, a spokesperson for Prince Charles has denied the allegations: “This is fiction and not worth further comment.”
