As Charlotte embarks on her new life as a member of the royal family, she is reminded of her duties by her mother-in-law, who wants her to have "as many babies as possible for my son". But as she tries to escape her luxurious lifestyle, she meets King George himself, who is determined to win her over.

Throughout the trailer, we see snippets of Charlotte and George's courtship. As Charlotte struggles with her feelings towards George, he makes a heartfelt plea to win her over, saying "if you will give me one evening of your time, it might make you hate me a little bit less."

Directed by Tom Verica, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story promises to be an exciting addition to the Bridgerton universe, offering fans a chance to explore the backstory of one of their favourite characters. The series will be dropping on Netflix on 4 May!
