The film ET - Extra-Terrestrial was directed by Steven Spielberg and released in 1982. It is a story about Elliot, a boy who befriends an ET.
Henry Thomas played the role of Elliot in the film. He auditioned at the age of nine where he delivered a captivating performance. His natural acting and his improvisation are impressive especially performing at such a young age. And of course, with no doubt, he got the job instantly.
As the director states, “Okay, kid you got the job”.
