Guy Pearce reveals his cute tradition with former co-star Jason Donovan

The Aussie show "Neighbours" ends this July after running for 37 years

Guy Pearce who played Mike on "Neighbours" opened up about his long-running friendship with former co-star Jason Donovan who played Scott.

Guy's character Mike was part of the group with Charlene and Scott, and the trio is set to make a come back in the special final episode this July.

Guy revealed to the Press Association that he and Jason referred to one another by their 'Neighbour's' character names.

"Jason and I see each other all the time, and we still call each other Scott and Mike, which is a bit sad!" Guy said.

Back in 2018, the trio reunited at Kylie's 50th birthday party, and we will now be seeing them together again on our screen.

"I wanted to be reminded of being that 19-year-old again, when I would get into my Datsun and fang it to Vermont South or the Network Ten studios at Nunawading, [in Melbourne where the show is filmed. It was very sweet to be with Jason and to think, "Wow, we're still around", Kylie told The Australian.

Neighbours fans will get to purchase a copy of the 1998s single that is planned to be re-released to mark the finale of 'Neighbours' after they reprised the roles on the soap that made their names, Ramsay Street residents Scott and Charlene.

A limited number of copies of 1988 single will be released on vinyl and cassette from August 5, with the single already available to pre-order.
