Dolly Parton has just released a new fragrance called 'Smoky Mountain', inspired by one of her favourite places in the world.
"Dolly’s joy and positivity inspires us to chase a firefly, dance in the mountain mist and enjoy every sunset" the website wrote.
'Smoky Mountain' has these fragrance notes:
- Top Notes: Tiger Orchid
- Heart Notes: Warm Tonka
- Base Notes: Cashmere Woods
She announced her release on her Instagram saying "Straight from the Smoky Mountains to our hearts! 💜"
Growing up in the Tennessee foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, her mountain roots are stronger than ever.
Her love for Smoky Mountains has inspired some of her best music including "My Tennessee Home" and now this perfume has also been released.
In a conversation with National Geographic Travels, Dolly explained that Dollywood, and her other similar projects are a way for her to introduce her 'smoky mountain', which she describes as "one of the most beautiful places in the world.
"When I come here it's a feeling like nothing else," Dolly said.
The country music legend has always dreamt of having her own perfume.
Creating a unique and personalized smell when it comes to perfume, is not something new for Dolly Parton.
She has been mixing bath oils, powders, and perfumes and creating her own scent from early on. This smell has become her "signature perfume" and she gets many questions daily about what perfume she is wearing.
"For as long as I can remember, people have commented on my scent. “What are you wearing?,” “what is that fantastic smell?,” and “where can I get it?” are all questions I have heard daily for more years than I can remember" she said.
