This Kiwi wine brand is donating to a charity chosen by you with every bottle

New Zealand wine brand Stoneleigh is giving away half a million dollars across three different charities this year - and those of us partial to a tipple get to choose which one.

Until the end of the year, wine-lovers can scan the QR code on bottles and earn a 'Stoneleigh Coin' which they can use to allocate a portion of the cash to one of the charities.

The Marlborough Falcon Conservation Trust, Conservation Volunteers New Zealand and The Native Forest Restoration Trust will all be receiving donations to help with the important biodiversity work they do to help Aotearoa's flora and fauna thrive.

A good cause and a good drop? Sounds like a perfect combination.

The Marlborough Falcon Conservation Trust is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of New Zealand’s only native species of falcon, the Kārearea. This video should give an (incredibly cute) idea of the work they do.

Conservation Volunteers New Zealand brings people together to plant and care for native trees, eradicate pests and weeds, protect threatened species, restore waterways and help make natural spaces accessible to everyone.

Last, but certainly not least, funds going towards The Native Forest Restoration Trust will be used in the purchase and restoration of native bush.

Our evening chardonnay has never tasted so guilt-free!
