Lady Gaga performs a touching Tony Bennett tribute at the 2022 Grammys

Tony Bennett definitely loved this special tribute from Lady Gaga!

Lady Gaga's heartfelt tribute to Tony Bennett at the 2022 Grammys was one of the highlights of the night.

The 36 yer-old singer performed 'Sale for Love' and 'Do I love you?' as a tribute to her dedicated collaborator and the legendary Tony Bennett

Unfortunately Tony could not join Lady Gaga to perfom at the Grammys, due to his continuing struggle with Alzheimer's.

"It was decided that it would be fitting for Lady Gaga to perform on her own to represent for both of them" Danny, Tony's son said.

"There is no doubt, that she will offer up an impeccable performance from Love for Sale, which is Tony’s final album. He will be cheering her on as he watches from his home in New York City."

The pre-taped video of Tony Bennett played on the screen to introduce Lady Gaga, "Hi everyone, please welcome Lady Gaga".

During her powerful performance, numerous clips of the two were shown on the screen. Towards the end, a photo of Tony's hand on Lady Gaga's shoulder and her hand on top of his hand appeared on the screen. On stage, Lady Gaga placed her hand on her own shoulder recreating the same moment but without him on stage.

She closes her set by sending a message to Tony, "I love you Tony. We miss you".

Lady Gaga and Tony Benett won the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album with their 'Love For Sale' album at the 2022 Grammys. This is their second collaborative album.
