NZ Post suggests when you should post your Christmas parcels by to ensure safe delivery

Like it or lump it, the busy festive season is just around the corner.

With Covid-19 continuing to disrupt postal services globally and within NZ, NZ Post has shared some information around sending parcels overseas and domestically - more specifically, when you should get those parcels in the mail to ensure a safe and on time delivery.

If you're planning on sending parcels overseas, NZ Post has suggested that you get posting them now. For standard postage, the cut off dates are 24 November for parcels to Australia, 19 November for South Pacific, Asia, North America, UK & Europe and 15 November for the rest of the world.

For sending within New Zealand, cut off dates are 21st December for usual post, or the courier dates cut off on 23rd December.

Of course, with the way the world is working at the moment, these cut off dates may be brought forward by a few days - so if you're planning on posting anything, it's a good idea to get them away sooner rather than later.
