Rod Stewart is remaining hopeful that he will get to come to New Zealand next year and rock the socks off thousands of his adoring Kiwi fans from across NZ.
Rod was originally meant to be playing three shows in New Zealand in November 2020, but due to the global pandemic, he was forced to reshuffle his concert dates to April 2022.
With just a few months until April, Rod has shared that he is remaining hopeful that he will be able to get here.
Speaking from Australia, Garry Craft from Mission Estate Winery told Hawkes Bay Today that they were still working toward the April concert dates.
Craft confirmed with Rod that he was still keen to play and was still planning to play his shows on Kiwi soil.
"Basically it depends on when they are going to allow others to come into the country. Not just New Zealand, but also Australia." Garry Craft said.
Rod's show is part of his 'The Hits! Tour' which celebrates 50 years of his music career.
