Meghan and Prince Harry share subtle nod to NZ with Time Magazine photoshoot

Pince Harry and Meghan Markle have been named two of the world's most influential people by Time Magazine, and to mark the occassion the couple landed the highly sought-after cover photo.

The photos for Time marked the first time the world-famous couple had formally posed together for a magazine cover shoot.

But eagle-eyed Kiwi royal fans could't help but notice that in one of the stunning portraits, the photo looked eeriely similar to a photo they had while on their 2018 royal tour to the Redwoods Forest in Rotorua.

It's no secret that Meghan and Harry loved their time in New Zealand during their hectic 16-day tour of the South Pacific, and even considered moving here when they decided to leave the UK.

Dame Patsy Reddy said: "I remember they’d just been down to the Abel Tasman National Park when we sat down and had a drink, and they said that they could imagine living in a place like this and wondered whether we thought it would be theoretically possible. Even possible for them to have a place in New Zealand."
