Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Oprah interview has been nominated for an Emmy

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bombshell sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey has been nominated for an Emmy.

Oprah With Meghan and Harry aired back in March and brought in millions of viewers around the globe. It has been nominated for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series Or Special category and is up against five other nominees.

During the two-hour Oprah With Meghan and Harry special, the couple went on the record about "falsehoods" they'd seen in the media about themselves, shared new insights about their family members, detailed their approach to stepping away from their duties as working royals, opened up about Meghan's struggles with mental health while she was pregnant with their son Archie and revealed that they were expecting a daughter (baby Lilibet).

Royal watchers were also pleased to hear that Netflix's The Crown, who's latest series featured a fictionalized look at Prince Harry's mother Diana's tumultuous entry into the royal family, has been nominated for a whopping 24 nominations.
