Kia Orana! Quarantine free travel from New Zealand to the beautiful Cook Islands is set to kick off!
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, accompanied by Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins, announced that from 17th of May, Kiwis will be able to travel to Rarotonga, and those in the Cook Islands will be able to travel back to New Zealand without the need for quarantine.
The one-way travel bubble from Rarotonga to New Zealand opened in January due to no cases of Covid being reported on the islands.
But this is the first time since NZ's first lockdown that Kiwis have been allowed into the Cook Islands without the need for quarantine.
