It's not long until we can expect the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter. While details around the daughter's impending birth are extremely scarce due to the Sussex's living a mostly private personal life, British Bookies have been going bonkers with bets predicting what the royal baby will be named.
The popular gambling site Ladbrokes has seen Philippa grow as a popular prediction for Meghan and Harry's daughter. They have slashed the betting odds on the name to 3/1.
Philippa began to grow in popularity following the late Prince Philip's admittance to hospital earlier in the year, and grew even more following his death. It's no secret that Prince Harry was very close to his grandfather.
If Harry & Meghan did pay tribute to Prince Philip in their second child's name, they wouldn't be alone. Harry's cousins Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall both paid tribute to their grandfather just before his death by giving their newborn sons the middle name Philip.
Other name predictions that punters are putting their money on are Diana, after Harry's late mother Princess Diana, and Elizabeth, after Harry's grandmother the Queen.
Allegra, Alexandria, Grace, Emma, Rose, Alice and Victoria are other favorites.
However, don't expect any of the predicted names to be chosen. In 2019, Harry & Meghan chose a moniker that was not on the betting companies' radars, naming their son Archie.
