If you often find yourself craving a nap each afternoon, then here's some good news.
A recent study has found that those who take naps have an increased brain capacity which helps to improve their overall brain function.
"Taking a regular afternoon nap may be linked to better mental agility." the study said.
"It seems to be associated with better locational awareness, verbal fluency, and working memory, the findings indicate."
But the good results didn't stop there - napping can also help reduce inflammation!
"Inflammatory chemicals have an important role in sleep disorders. Sleep regulates the body's immune response and napping is thought to be an evolved response to inflammation."
If this hasn't inspired you to take an afternoon nap, nothing will!
