Study shows that a quarter of adults plan to buy themselves Christmas presents

As we near the end of a crazy old year, it seems that a good chunk of people are planning to wrap themselves up some presents to pop under the tree.

A study conducted by centre:mk found that almost a quarter of adults plan to buy a Christmas present for themselves this year.'

The study which was conducted on on 2,000 people found 12% plan on buying themselves a new games console.

While 15% plan on purchasing themselves  some new clothes to boost their mood.

Although, half of those surveyed claimed that they deserve a treat and 29% are not expecting many gifts from others.

They also found that on average, people were buying for eight different people this Christmas.
