Diners at a London KFC got a bit of royal treatment after Prince William surprised them while joining the Duchess on a project.
While the hungry people at the Waterloo KFC tucked into their three-piece quarter packs, Prince William who was in the area for work duties, got distracted and peered into the window of the KFC where many diners were lined up on stools.
While customers were unstandably a little startled, but very excited, the Duke of Cambridge simply smiled,w aved and continued on with his business.
But it wasn't long before the KFC social media team caught whiff of the future King's interest in their restaurant and shared some hilarious puns on social media.
They tweeted out one of the photos of him peering through the window, captioned: "William whispered quietly to himself; 'Oh, I just can't wait to be wing'."
The employee who came up with the pun later admitted he could have made another joke.
"I'm sad I didn't call him His Royal Thighness in the main tweet tbh," he said in a second tweet.
