Last week marked what would have been George Michael's 57th birthday.
And while it has been a few years since the superstar's death, the effects are still being felt.
Ronan Keating obviously felt a little emotional on George's birthday, penning a heartfelt tribute to the late singer and revealing that George Michael was the reason why he began his career in music.
"I was inspired to perform and sing because of this man." Ronan started his post.
"In my eyes, he is the greatest singer songwriter that has lived. A man with the biggest and most genuine heart and whose humble generosity to the people and world around him is nothing short of mind blowing."
"Proud to call ya my hero and even more proud to call you a friend. Miss you every day. Happy Birthday brother. X"
