21-member choir "come together" virtually to sing Pokarekare Ana

The London-based choir sang together despite being isolated.

Even when we're apart, we're finding new ways to "come together"!

A London-based choir have sung their version of classic New Zealand song Pokarekare Ana, while their members are isolated in their homes

"This version was recorded by members of the London Humanist Choir separately in spring 2020, owing to the Covid-19 pandemic having made traditional rehearsals impossible."

"Each singer's video and audio contribution was then combined to allow us to sing 'together' once again," the choir said.

Choir member Dan Bloom shared on Twitter that each person recorded their video separately from their bedrooms or living rooms, and a "bit of post-production' was required to put the full video together.
