After Ikea announced that it was planning to open up its first store in Auckland, they've now released more details about two other stores they plan to plant.
The Swedish furniture franchise announced it will open a full-sized Ikea store in the greater Auckland area where people can access the entire range
Wellington will have an Ikea planning studio, while a second smaller-format store will open in Christchurch.
The exact locations are yet to be confirmed, but Ikea will also launch its full e-commerce offer during this period.
Jan Gardberg, Country Retail Manager for Ikea New Zealand said they were "looking forward" to give all Kiwis the chance to access Ikea either online or in-store.
"IKEA is a leader in home furnishings around the world and we want to partner with the many New Zealanders to provide inspiration and affordable home furnishing solutions to create a better everyday life at home."
No dates have been confirmed for Ikea's launch in NZ.
