Sir Elton John's two remaining Mt Smart Stadium shows in Auckland have now been rescheduled to Friday 15th and Saturday 16th January 2021.
"I'm incredibly disappointed to have to reschedule my remaining Auckland dates and I want to send my sincerest apologies to my amazing fans for any inconvenience caused", said Elton.
"I always want to be able to give one hundred percent and I'm afraid that, right now, I'm not able to do that. I am grateful for the love and loyalty I have been shown by all of you and I can't wait to return in January next year to perform my final New Zealand shows."
Sir Elton was forced to leave the stage due to 'walking pneumonia' halfway through his first Auckland show on Sunday, and originally pushed back Tuesday's show to Wednesday at the recommendation of his doctors.
His remaining Australian shows will go ahead as planned. His next show is for Melbourne on Saturday 22 February, two days after his final Auckland show was originally scheduled.
Tickets for the Tuesday 18th February show will be valid for his Friday 15th January 2021 show, while his Thursday 20th February show will have their tickets rescheduled to Saturday 16th 2021. Both rescheduled NZ shows will remain at Mt Smart Stadium.
Those unable to attend his new dates will be able to contact Ticketmaster to request a refund.
