Having your birthday in December can seem like a bit of a rough deal - your big day tends to be overshadowed by Christmas festivities, and people seem to think it's acceptable to do a two-in-one for your birthday and Chrissy gifts.
It turns out there are SOME benefits to being born in December though.
According to a study published in the Journal of Ageing Research, having a birthday in the last month of the year means you're more likely to live past the age of 100!
"This study suggests that the December-born have a significantly higher risk of surviving up to age 105+ compared to the June-born," said the study.
A survey of college students in the US also revealed that December babies are less likely to complain, and are less prone to mood swings.
Not only that, another study of 1.7 million people's findings suggests that December babies have a lower risk of cardiovascular disease.
So December babies are healthier, live longer, and are nicer people. Who knew!
