A recent study has found that on top of that annoyance, a snoring partner can have negative impacts on both your mental and physical health.
The sleep deprivation caused by loud snores can lead to an increased risk of depression, anxiety as well as obesity and even higher chances of having a stroke. On top of this, people who are sleep deprived tend to perform more poorly at work and think slower than others. It doesn't stop there though, partners of snorers are also more likely to go deaf!
The issue is fairly widespread, 52% of women say their sleep is effected due to snores coming from the other side of the bed.
If your partner has a habit of snoring, take this as an excuse to get them some professional help... For both of your sakes.
