If you watched TV during the 70s and 80s then you will be pleased to hear that a couple of well-known faces will be appearing back on our modern day TV screens!
The classic Goodnight Kiwi and Cat, who let us know midnight was approaching and the station was about to shut down for the night are being brought back to life as a television show for kids.
The animated characters will star alongside NZ TV and radio personalities including Hilary Barry and Oscar Kightley in the show, 'Goodnight Kiwi'.
Hosts will read popular New Zealand bedtime stories, which will be accompanied by animation, original illustrations and live performances.
The show will be available to stream on TVNZ On Demand.
