It's been 18 months since Meghan Markle's character Rachel Zane appeared in the legal drama Suits.
Meghan played the role of the paralegal for seven seasons before she announced her engagenment to Prince Harry and ultimately retired from acting.
Her final scenes, in which Rachel marries Mike, aired in April of 2018; just a month before Meghan and Harry tied the knot IRL.
The show's final ever episode went out last week and its writers couldn't resist making reference to its royal connection.
As Louis prepares for his wedding to Sheila, Harvey sees what he's wearing and asks him, "Wait are second. Are you wearing a morning coat?"
"Of course I’m wearing a morning coat," Louis responds. Frankly, I’m disappointed you’re not."
"Louis, you’re not the Prince of England," Harvey retorts.
Close fans of the royal family might remember that a morning coat was the dress code for men at Meghan and Harry's wedding, which many of her Suits co-stars were guests at.
The show's creator revealed that when it came to the final ever episode of the long-running show, the Suits team didn't even ask Meghan Markle if she did want to briefly reprise her role in the series.
"In the end I didn’t ask, and I just thought, I’m going to respect her new life and not put her in the position of having to ask," the show's creator Aaron Korsh told Deadline.
Fair enough too! It looks like the Duchess of Sussex has quite a lot on her plate right now with 6-month old Archie and a full calander of upcoming royal engagements.
