Brush up on your Queen's English, pack your best clothes and get ready for a right royal stay at Highclere Castle - the home of Downton Abbey.
To celebrate the release of the Downton Abbey film, the Castle will be opening its doors up to the public via Airbnb.
But there is a catch.
The Castle will only be open for one night only and will only go to two lucky guests who will get to enjoy the one-of-a-kind experience.
Guests can expect to live like high society nobility for the duration of their stay, and will be invited to enjoy cocktails in the saloon with the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, followed by a traditional dinner in the state dining room.
After dinner, coffee will be served in the library before the guests retire to one of the principal bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom and views over the 1,000 acres of lush parklands. The next day, guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast and a private tour of Highclere Castle’s extensive grounds before departing the grounds.
If it sounds like something you would be interested in - Highclere Castle is available for booking from October 1st, 11pm NZST.
