David Schwimmer's UK lookalike has been jailed for nine months for a spate of theft and fraud offences.
Abdulah Husseini, 36, was handed down the sentence on Thursday after a two-day trial before a jury that ended in him being convicted of four counts of fraud and one of theft, the Guardian reports.
He was described as a "travelling, wandering, nomadic thief" in court, and Judge Sara Dodd called him "a habitual thief" with an "appalling criminal history" during sentencing.
He has 32 previous convictions for 60 offences since 2008, including 27 for theft and dishonesty.
Husseini's crimes were low level, but he was catapulted to fame in 2018 when Blackpool Police posted a CCTV photo of him on Facebook in an attempt to track him down.
Many commented on his appearance and compared it to Schwimmer, famous for his role in the 1990s sitcom Friends.
Schwimmer himself even commented on it and released a video of himself emulating Husseini on Twitter.
"Officers, I swear it wasn't me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation."
Schwimmer is yet to publicly comment on Husseini's conviction. The thief is likely to be released soon, having already served half his nine-month term while awaiting trial.
