Grease fans who have a bit of spare cash floating around will be ecstatic to know that Olivia Newton-John is auctioning off her iconic Sandy costume from Grease.
The actress is putting her black leather jacket and tight trousers made famous in the final scene of Grease on the market.
It’s all to raise money for her cancer treatment centre, the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre in her hometown of Melbourne after the star was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 before suffering a relapse in 2013.
Two years ago she was then diagnosed with stage four breast cancer for a third time and was undergoing treatment in March this year.
Along with the jacket and leather trousers from the 1978 classic she’s also auctioning off her original script from the film (estimated at around $4000) and custom-made Pink Ladies jacket, which was presented to the actor by the cast and crew of Grease, expected to be sold for up to $4,000
The iconic jacket and leather pants - which are being sold separately - are apparently expected to fetch around $200,000.
