Hollywood acting couple Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have escaped to New Zealand for a mid-April getaway.
The 'Star Wars' actor and the 'Supergirl' actress wife were spotted Sunday night in Air New Zealand's Koru Lounge in Queenstown before boarding a flight to Auckland.
NZ Herald report that the couple and their son Liam Flockhart stayed at the Fiordland Lodge in Te Anau during their trip. The accommodation overlooks Lake Te Anau and is a known to be a celebrity haven, with Andy Serkis (co-director and actor of The Hobbit) saying it's a "perfect retreat on one's journey through Middle-Earth".
The flight was running about 30 minutes late but the Air NZ pilot promised to "keep pedalling the Millennium Falcon as fast as we can", making a reference to Han Solo's famous Star Wars spaceship.
After the flight landed in Auckland, Harrison Ford and his family were escorted out of the Jetstar exit and left for the international departures terminal.
Harrison Ford has been best known for his work on Star Wars as Han Solo, and as the titular character in the Indiana Jones film franchise. The 76-year-old has already been announced in a 2021 project for Indiana Jones, as well as voicing in The Secret Life of Pets 2 animation.
