Nadia Lim is set to join this seasons Dancing with the Stars New Zealand

Dancing with the Stars NZ 31/03/2019

Celebrity chef & entrepreneur Nadia Lim has just been announced to join this years Dancing with the Stars New Zealand.

Auckland born Nadia, who is of Chinese-Malaysian heritage, has been cooking since age 12, but rose to prominence after winning MasterChef NZ in 2011. Since then she has become a top-selling author as well as gone on to be the founder of the hugely popular food delivery service, My Food Bag.

Lim is ready to add a bit of flavour to the DWTS dance floor in 2019, as she sets out to raise funds for her chosen charity, Garden to Table.

On swapping her chefs whites for sequins Nadia says:

My eighty year old self told me to do it! If there’s anything I’ve learnt, it’s that life is just a bunch of experiences, so why not?! I’m a sucker for a good challenge and it looks like so much fun. I’m expecting it’ll be hard work though! It’s been a long time since I was on the dance floor (of the university bar) back in my scarfie days where, believe it or not, I met my future husband, so I must have had at least one or two impressive moves!

Lim is to hit the dance floor with Newshub's Mike McRoberts, as well as ex Rugby League great Manu Vatuvei, social media superstar William Waiirua & TV Presenter Jude Dobson plus with yet to be announced celebs.

Check out Dancing with the Stars New Zealand, which kicks off on Three from Sunday April 14th. The show will play every Sunday at 7pm and Monday 7:30pm for this years season.
