We know the Royals are big fans of nicknames, so it's no surprise that Princess Charlotte has a cute name of her own!
Belfast-based blogger Laura-Ann brought her 2-year-old son George to Windsor Park Stadium during Kate and Prince Williams two-day visit to Northern Ireland late last month, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Royals.
Not only did Laura-Ann get to see the Royal pair, but she also got to have a chat with Kate, and learned what she calls Princess Charlotte at home.
Laura-Ann recounted her interactions on her Instagram story, sharing a video of Kate meeting her son, who shares a name with Prince George. "Hello. What’s your name? Hi, George, what a cool name you’ve got, and you look very smart in your bow tie. It’s very nice to meet you," said Kate in the video.
The video then cut out, but Laura-Ann then explains that Kate asked how old her other son is—and then unexpectedly dropped 3-year-old Charlotte’s cute nickname.
"And I said he is 4 and she said, ‘Oh, he’s the same age as Lottie’—she calls her Lottie!" Laura-Ann excitedly tells the camera in her Instagram.
