Prince Charles seems to have let being first in line for the throne go to his head...
The 69-year-old Prince of Wales has earned a special nickname for himself among the staff at the Clarence House royal residence, being called the 'Pampered Prince'.
According to Amazon Prime's new documentary 'Serving the Royals: Inside the Firm', Prince Charles is by far the most demanding member of the royal family.
“His pajamas are pressed every morning, his shoelaces are pressed flat with an iron, the bath plug has to be in a certain position and the water temperature has to be just tepid,” said “His pajamas are pressed every morning, his shoelaces are pressed flat with an iron, the bath plug has to be in a certain position and the water temperature has to be just tepid,” said Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s former butler, in the documentary.
He also revealed Charles "has his valets squeeze one inch of toothpaste onto his toothbrush every morning. On one occasion, he rang me from his library and he said, ‘Oh Paul, a letter from the Queen seems to have fallen into my wastepaper bin. Would you pick it out?'"
This isn't the first time Charles' behaviour has hit headlines: the recently published book 'Rebel Prince, The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles' by Tom Bowers includes interviews of more than 120 people who share crazy stories about working with the royals.
Nice for some being waited on hand and foot we guess!
