Zara and Mike Tindall welcomed their second child, a daughter on the 18th of June. The newest royal has already broken a record, she is the heaviest weighing child in royal history weighing 9lbs 3oz. She is believed to have been the heaviest royals in the recent years, previous to this was Zara's niece Savanah who weighed 8lbs 8oz. The new big sister Mia Grace, weighed 7lbs 12oz when she was born in 2014. Compared to all three of Kate Middletons children, who weighed under 9lbs. The news was announced by Buckingham Palace
"Mrs Michael Tindall was safely delivered of a baby girl on 18th June, at Stroud Maternity Unit. Mr Tindall was present at the birth. The weight of the baby was 9lbs 3oz. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike's parents, Mr Philip and Mrs Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news. The baby's name will be confirmed in due course."
Only minutes after the news that the new royal was born, Grandmother Princess Anne made an appearance on the first day of Ascot, looking delighted.
This news comes only months after the new babies cousin, Louis, was born. This new baby will be Princess Anne's fourth grandchild and the Queen's seventh great-grandchild.
This baby was Zara's third pregnancy, after announcing they were expecting baby number two of November 2016. Yet tragically, Zara announced she had lost the bay on Christmas Eve. Rugby star Mike Tindall has said
'The saving grace for us has been Mia. However down we feel, she will come running up in our faces.'
The baby will not be given a title, like her older sister. As both Mike and Zara want their children to have the most normal upbringing.
