Meghan Markle gave up her acting career after she was recently married into the royal family, but she could be nominated for an Emmy now for her role in her final season of 'Suits'. This has the potential to be the last celebration of her performing days, as a source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she was put forward to be considered for an Emmy Award, by the network.
In her acting time, Meghan has never received an Emmy, so this will be her last attempt at winning the prestigious award. Fans were brought to tears by her final performance in the legal drama show. Where she married to on-screen husband Mike, played by Patrick J. Adams.
However, she does not have an easy category in the 'Outstanding Support Actress' category. Her competition includes Ann Dowd who won the awards last year for her part in A Handmaids Tale. Also going up alongside Chrissy Metz for her performance in This Is Us.
Her fellow Suits cast members have also been rumoured to be nominated for Emmy's. This includes Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty and Gina Torres. All of which attended the royal wedding a month ago.
