In September, Prince George officially started school in London but up until now only his father, Prince William has been dropping him to school.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who recently announced she was expecting her third child next April, has been suffering from a severe form of morning sickness and has been unable to take George to school.
At the opening of the annual School Leaders Forum, run by the children’s mental-health charity Place2Be, in London, Kate revealed that she is now able to attend the early morning drop-offs for 4-year-old George.
“As a mother, just getting used to leaving my own child at the school gates, it is clear to me that it takes a whole community to help raise a child,” she said according to People. “Whether we are school leavers, teachers, support staff or parents we are all in this together.”
Kate has had a history of a terrible morning sickness, called hyperemesis gravidarum.
She was ill while pregnant with both Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
