A couple of months ago Adele told fans she was taking a break from touring - possibly for good!
Now she has been looking at a new career - acting.
The superstar singer made an incredible impression on New Zealanders when she came her to perform 3 sold out shows in March.
She has been approached to play Nancy in a new film version of hit musical, Oliver . Nancy is the lover of Bill Sikes.
Sources say she is "seriously considering" the part.
"She's talked about [her 4-year-old son] Angelo being her number one priority and she sees this as a role that he could appreciate too. It would be a new challenge for her but one she would definitely be up for," a source told The Sun.
The film is based on Charles Dickens' classic tale and is being Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Working Title Films, who made the 2012 hit remake of Les Miserables.
If she takes up the part it will be her acting debut.
