Last night Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, a 66-minute documentary was broadcast on Three.
In the documentary Prince William and Prince Harry discuss their late mother for the first time publicly.
They shared their favourite memories of their mother, 20 years on from her death.
Prince Harry said his mother literally "smothered us with love" and he can still remember the feeling of her hugs: “She would just engulf you and squeeze you as tight as possible," he says. "You couldn’t let go until she wanted.”
William says he can still feel her love and he knew Diana was with him on his wedding day to Kate Middleton.
"There's times when you look to someone or something for strength, and I very much felt she was there for me."
Once as a prank on Prince William, Diana gathered supermodels Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Christy Turlington to surprise him on a visit home from school. "I think I pretty much fell down the stairs on the way up," William says, remembering his embarrassment and shock.
Princess Diana wanted William and Harry to have as normal a childhood as possible, which included drives together listening to Enya, giving them sweets to hide under their shirts and sending 'rude' cards to William at school.
